The Lakeview Heights Community Association (LHCA) recognizes that growth dictates change. The LHCA also recognizes that change demands new and innovative ways and means of governance to accommodate the growing demands for service and infrastructure.

The LHCA expects honest and open government, in a form that elicits the confidence, respect, and appreciation of the residents.

Lakeview Heights is topographically unique with our own needs and demands on infrastructure. It is necessary that our area be viewed separately with attention to our community having the ability to maintain our own individuality and community flavour.

What makes Lakeview Heights such an enjoyable place to live, raise a family, and conduct business is the diversity and variety that our community offers. We are committed to maintaining this unique and special atmosphere.

The LHCA believe that it is imperative that each community retain the right to decide it's own future, regulate growth and needs while maintaining balance and continuity within the Westside.

Your community association is committed to ensuring that changes in our community proceeds wisely, efficiently, and at the least cost to the taxpayer.

Growth will affect us all and change is necessary but a watchdog and cautious approach by your community association to these changes will help ensure that any necessary fine-tuning to the changes is to the benefit of our community as a whole.

Only by working together can we as residents protect our common interests and direction of our community.

As an association, it is our responsibility to be guided by our members and neighbours. Your concerns, suggestions, and especially your participation are what make us a strong community.

Your Board gauges current opinion through discussions at Board meetings, conversations with neighbours, members, letters to the Editor of local newspapers, LHCA hosted public information night's, occasional surveys and your telephone calls and email.
